Matthew Sanders

Chief Information Security Officer

Matt Sanders has over 15 years of experience within the information technology and security industry, working for both leading defense industrial base and security product companies. Previously at LogRhyhtm, Matt maintained operational oversight of security operations, physical security, awareness, privacy, governance, risk, and compliance functions, as well as creating the product security team. Before that, Matt was the head of security at a new space startup, BlackSky, building the security and compliance program from the ground up to meet stringent DoD and Intelligence Community security requirements. Matt holds a BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Texas A&M and a PhD from the Colorado School of Mines in Computer Science. He has published papers and presented cybersecurity research at multiple academic conferences.
