Natalie Harbert brings over 20 years’ federal government experience to the management team of LeoLabs Australia. Natalie joins the team recognising that Space Domain Awareness for the Australian environment involves different localised challenges, that require innovative solutions and approaches in both the defence and commercial sectors.
Natalie brings significant management experience predominantly gained during her time as a Logistics Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. Her key strengths include project management, personnel management, finance and leadership gained in a variety of challenging environments. Joining LeoLabs Australia in 2021, her experience and passion for strong, sustainable business growth will support LeoLabs in achieving its organisational goals.
Natalie and the management team at LeoLabs strive to achieve advances in space traffic safety, space situational awareness and preservation of the space environment through actionable, real-time information for the Australian environment and the wider region.
Natalie is a member of the Australian Human Resource Institute. Her academic qualifications include a Masters in Management (Project Management) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Natalie is a strong believer that both people and the right culture are paramount and at the centre of any successful organisation. She has a passion for United Nations peacekeeping activities and providing support to not for profit organisations in achieving their goals.
Beyond her professional career, Natalie enjoys gardening and visiting the fabulous Hunter Valley with family and friends.
