Introducing Vertex — our space operations stack
LeoLabs Vertex™ is the backbone of our operational infrastructure. This vertically integrated space operations stack enables us to track resident space objects and characterize events for our customers. This system includes our global radar network, which powers our cloud data platform, and our comprehensive suite of services and products.
LeoLabs Vertex™ components
Radar Network
Our phased-array radar network provides complete global coverage, including polar and equatorial sites located in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
Data processing
Our data is processed in real time before being sent to the cloud. From the time an object is observed to the time its measurements are available on our platform is around two minutes.
Astrodynamics engine
Our astrodynamics engine enables high accuracy orbital states to be fit to each object every second across our catalog, creating a dynamic living map of space traffic in low Earth orbit.
Event detection engine
Our event detection engine uses algorithms to provide customizable alerts and notifications for critical events such as upcoming conjunctions, recent maneuvers, and patterns of life.
Access methods
Our access methods to data products include web-based graphic user interfaces (GUIs) and a suite of full-featured RESTful APIs for ground system integration and automation at scale.
